DRP (Degree of Reading Power) ASSESSMENT
All sixth grade students.
Special education students with alternative assessment as part of their IEP are exempt from taking the DRP.
The District does not have a DRP test booklet per student. Teams will need to work out a testing schedule, so booklets can be shared within the building.
Testing must occur within the assessment window August 23, 2006-September 1, 2006
The testing should take approximately 50-60 minutes.
(Please administer make-up tests to students who have been absent.)
Preslugged DRP answer sheets (delivered to buildings from ESC)
Blank answer sheets for new students (delivered to buildings from ESC)
DRP Level G-6 booklets (delivered to buildings from ESC)
DRP test directions (on the RTL web site)
all answer sheets and test booklets to the main office or the 6th grade RTL
building representative by 8:00 a.m
Tuesday, September 5, 2006.
Alphabetical and rank order student class lists will be returned to buildings ASAP to assist with the leveling of students.
DRP District and National norms, as well as a comparison of 2005 to 2006 will be provided for building administrators.
DRP TEST BOOKLET DISTRIBUTION
1-3 sets of booklets will be delivered to each building based on enrollment size. These booklets will be returned to the ESC when testing is finished along with the scan sheets.
